Music fans to get N75m, trip to South Africa

Coke Studio has unveiled its highly anticipated 2024 campaign, ‘Beat the Drop’, featuring the return of Nigerian music sensations Ayra Starr, Rema, and Asake.

This year’s campaign is set to celebrate the vibrant music fandom across Nigeria, while offering fans access to the artists and a chance to exciting prizes, including up to N75 million in cash rewards and an all-expense-paid trip to South Africa for an exclusive music experience.

Fans will also enjoy exclusive track releases and thrilling live performances as part of this year’s events.

The Senior Director of Frontline Marketing at Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, Yusuf Murtala, emphasised the campaign’s commitment to connecting fans with their favorite artists.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with Ayra Starr, Rema, and Asake for this year’s ‘Beat the Drop’ campaign. It’s a celebration of the power of music and fandom, offering fans unparalleled access to these exceptional artists,” Murtala said.

Reeling out the exciting opportunities for fans, Murtala said the campaign promises an immersive lineup of experiences, including exclusive track releases, thrilling live performances, and customized Coca-Cola packs featuring the artists’ images.

He said fans can also participate in the ‘Drink, Find, Scan and Win’ promotion, which offers a variety of prizes, including the five fans winning N1 million each week.

Murtala said additional rewards include tickets to the Coke Studio Live event in December, Boomplay subscription vouchers, Bolt ride vouchers, mobile recharge cards, and Showmax subscriptions.

He said to participate, fans need to purchase a promo pack and look for Coca-Cola drinks with a white cap or crown, scan the QR code found on the pack or marketing materials and enter the unique 10-character code under the cap or crown.

Murtala said the winners are notified instantly and all entries qualify for periodic draws.

He said as part of the campaign, COKE STUDIO will announce live performance dates and exclusive track releases from Ayra Starr, Rema, and Asake in the coming weeks.

“The initiative elevates how fans interact with their music icons, combining exhilarating digital moments with unforgettable real-world experiences,” Murtala added.

Murtala emphasised the importance of the campaign in uniting fans and artists, adding that this is more than just a promotion but a way to celebrate the fans who keep the music alive while giving them a platform to experience unforgettable moments.

He said the ‘Drink, Find, Scan and Win’ promotion is approved by regulatory authorities and runs under strict supervision to ensure transparency and fairness.
