Record producer AY Zed bags multiple Headies award nominations

After a remarkable 2024, acclaimed hit record producer, AY Zed (born Azuka Adaeze) has earned two prestigious nominations at the 2025 Headies Awards.

Recognised for his chart-topping productions, AY Zed is nominated for Single of the Year and Collaboration of the Year for his work on the remix of Twe Twe by Kizz Daniel featuring Davido.

His success extends beyond these nominations, as another of his productions, Showa, off Kizz Daniel’s TZA project, has also been shortlisted for Video of the Year, with TG Omori and Kizz Daniel delivering a visually stunning interpretation of the track.

AY Zed’s rise in the AfroBeats industry has been fueled by a string of successful collaborations with some of Africa’s biggest stars, including Timaya, Flavour, Davido, Patoranking, Black Sherif, and Ajebo Hustlers.
