RMD, Tonye Cole, Patti Brown, Hauwa Ojeifo to headline Africa Coaching Week 2024
The sixth Africa Coaching Week (ACW), Africa’s most anticipated coaching event of the year begins with a flagship conference on Wednesday, November 20.
The ACW, themed ‘The AfroCoaching Revolution: Tapping into African Wisdom for Global Change,’ celebrates the continent’s legacy of wisdom and its impact on modern coaching.
Headlined by renowned figures including Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Dr. Linus Okorie, Tonye Cole, Patti Brown, and Juliet Ibrahim, ACW 2024 promises a vibrant fusion of tradition, innovation, and networking.
Dubbed the “Owambe Edition,” the event begins with a red-carpet reception at 4 pm, leading into a night of powerful talks, award recognitions, live music, and cultural experiences.
“ACW 2024 is a celebration of African wisdom,” said Omawumi Ogbe, President of Life Coaches Association of Nigeria (LCAN).
She added: “From renowned actors to global business leaders and social media influencers, ACW 2024 brings together a powerful chorus of voices. All of us at LCAN are excited to spark conversations that will empower individuals and communities across Africa and beyond”
Speaking on the 2024 theme, LCAN advisory board member and one of this year’s ACW speakers, Dr. Laila St.Matthew-Daniel, added that the AfroCoaching Revolution is about more than just coaching. In her words, “It’s about harnessing the power of our heritage to lead with purpose and create a world where everyone thrives.
“ACW 2024 is a platform to ignite that revolution. We are confident of the Africa Coaching Week’s potential to drive innovation and positive change on a global scale,” she added.
