Almond Productions Limited, the organisers of the yearly Insurance Industry Awards, has unveiled nominees in 10 categories for the 2024 edition awards where winners will be announced in the industry.

This year, the organisers have received a significant increase in participation from Stakeholders with nominations rising to 392 compared to last year’s 101.

The 288.12 per cent increase in participation in the nomination process is a testament to the growing recognition and prestige of the Almond Awards within and outside the Insurance Industry.

Chairman Awards Panel of Judges Ms. Prisca Soares revealed this at a press conference to unveil several nominees for the 2024 edition of the wards at in Lagos.

While extending to profound pleasure to enthusiasm demonstrated by industry operators she said the award ceremony aims at recognising and exalting individuals of excellence in the Insurance Industry.

Soares specially commended the media for their incredible support through the extensive broadcast of the Nomination Process in their various Platforms.

“We are convened here today to reveal the nominees in the various categories. I am thrilled by the Industry’s enthusiastic response to this year’s Awards.

“The meticulous nomination process which spanned over a month saw active participation from Top Management, Corporate Entities, and Individual Clients, all nominating based on the provided criteria.”

The Chairman however noted that some of the Nominations were not considered due to non-compliance with the criteria. I must say that overall it was well received.

She noted, “It is pertinent to inform you that nominees for the various categories went through the mill of due process and screening by the Judges before being Shortlisted for the Voting Process.
