News of her passing surfaced on Thursday, sending shockwaves through the gospel music community and among his fans.

Sharing his sorrow on Instagram, Dare Melody wrote, “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the transition to eternal rest of our beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend.”

Adedoyin was not just a partner to Dare Melody; she was his rock and supporter. Over the years, he had publicly showered her with love.

In a show of appreciation, he gifted her a brand-new home as a birthday surprise in February 2023.

Known for his inspiring praise and worship songs, including fan favourites like ‘Damilare’ and ‘Alade Ogo’, Dare Melody has become a respected figure in Nigerian gospel music. His songs often speak of unwavering faith, with lyrics that show resilience and hope.

In his track ‘Eleti Gbaroye’, Dare Melody reflects on God’s comforting embrace and attentiveness during life’s most challenging times.
