The seventh edition of Caladium Lagos SME Bootcamp would bring together a powerhouse lineup of speakers, industry leaders, and influential entrepreneurs to inspire and empower Nigeria’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

Hosted by Caladium Consulting, the Bootcamp has become a flagship event for the entrepreneurial community, driving growth, innovation, and sustainability among SMEs across Africa since 2018.
The Bootcamp, which would be held on November 9, 2024 is organised in partnership with Ecobank and Sanlam Insurance, and will take place at Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

It promises to be an immersive experience packed with insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and resources tailored to the needs of aspiring and established business leaders.

This year’s keynote speaker is Honourable Commissioner of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade & Investment for Lagos State, Folashade Ambrose-Medebem. Other speakers include: Managing Director of Dutum Company Limited, Temitope Runsewe; Global HR and Workforce Efficiency Leader, Onalapo Thomas; Managing Director, JC Decaux Nigeria, Omoniyi Dada; Managing Director of UAC Foods, Oluyemi Oloyede; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, Oluwatoyin Atanda; Digital Creator and Social Media Influencer, Pamilerin Adegoke; 101 Cavern Ltd, Oyewole Oyeniyi, and Digital Sales Manager, Businessday, Ochugbua Linda, who will all share their insights on building resilient businesses.

The Convener of the Bootcamp and founder, Caladium Consulting, Ayo Bankole Akintujoye, said that the CLSME Bootcamp 7.0 aims to enhance business management capabilities and create a supportive ecosystem where SMEs can thrive. This year’s edition would feature an executive dialogue where global CEOs would share perspective on how to manage their business to global standards. Attendees will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses through exhibition booths, compete for funding through the CLSME Bootcamp 7.0 pitch competition, and participate in an exclusive networking cocktail event immediately following the main event.

Co-founder Durojaiye Oluwaseun said that Caladium Lagos SME Bootcamp intends to continue setting the standard for entrepreneurial development in Nigeria, with past editions having impacted over 10,000 businesses directly and 22,000 jobs indirectly through bespoke initiatives and programs such as the Bootcamp, CLSME Fellowship Program, CLSME Micro-grants, and Fedacash, an SME-focused startup. This year’s edition promises to be even bigger and more impactful, offering tools and strategies for sustainable business growth in a challenging economic environment.
