The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) has empowered over 50 young insurance professionals at the third edition of its youth mentorship programme tagged ‘Boot Camp 5.0’ with a promise to continue to raise the bar of professional capacity building.

The programme themed, ‘Growing Towards Mastery: The Journey to A Meaningful Career’ is designed to empower young insurance practitioners with the skills, knowledge and mindset necessary to achieve a meaningful and successful career as they plan to become masters in their chosen profession. It was held at the College of Insurance and Financial Management, Asese, Ogun State.

Delivering his welcome address at the programme at the weekend, the President/Chairman of the Council, Yetunde Ilori, said the mentorship programme is organised by the institute to train young professionals in the industry to become leaders and equip them with managerial skills for career advancement.
The programme featured engaging pep talk sessions where the participants interacted with industry experts who shared insights from their experiences as learning points for the participants.

Other council members who shared insights are the Deputy President of CIIN, Akinjide Orimolade; the Treasurer, Adetutu Arusika; Chairman of the Education Committee, Funmi Omo and the Rector of the College of Insurance and Financial Management, Dr Chizoba Eziogu.
