Oyo, firm partner to develop RayfieldGardens City Estate project
Plans by the Oyo State government to increase it housing stock have received a boost following the public-private partnership between its investment agency, OYSIPA and Fendini Limited for the development of Rayfield Gardens City Estate.
The estate located at Alao-Akala GRA in the Wofun-Montana area of Ibadan is one of ten housing estates that private firms are constructing in partnership with the government to address the infrastructure deficit in the housing sector in the state. Rayfield Gardens is a self-sustainable residential and commercial housing development with amenities.
The residential wing of the estate includes 354 smart home units of three-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, three-bedroom detached bungalows, three-bedroom terrace duplexes, three-bedroom detached duplexes, four-bedroom semi-detached duplexes, four-bedroom detached duplexes,five-bedroom detached duplexes and five-bedroom luxurious duplexes.
Amenities anticipated in the estate include 24-hour estate security/CCTV surveillance, good roads with drainage, potable water, pre- and post-paid metering, solar energy and inverter backup, LED and solar streetlights, estate internet/Wi-Fi, guest house and recreational facilities.
The commercial area includes a shopping mall, hospital, school, amusement park, hotel, banking hall/ATM gallery, and event centre. About 74 plots of land are also available to home buyers and investors to build according to their designs and specifications.
MEANWHILE, the State Governor, Seyi Makinde, who visited Rayfield Garden recently, lauded the developers for their hard work, and creative approach and expressed satisfaction with the project. He highlighted the need for more comfortable living spaces for residents and visitors, leveraging government’s economic reforms.
The governor said when the Ibadan-Iwo Road, Kute-Jenriyin Road, and other ongoing road constructions are completed, it will boost trade, and commerce and provide multiple access roads to the estate.
The developer, Prince Adelaja Adeoye, received and conducted the governor, Commissioner for Lands Housing and Urban Development, Mr Akin-Funmilayo Williams and other top government functionaries around the estate.
He listed some of the estate’s features, such as paved road network and drainages, power installations, solar street lights, water supply, and security system.
Adeoye revealed that some allottees are already living in the estate, using the opportunity to appreciate their residents and subscribers, calling on the public to take advantage of the ongoing ‘Build and Move in Immediately’ offer, for more people to become homeowners in the estate.
He said his company is committed to setting the pace for excellence in real estate development, and reiterated commitment to develop and deliver to their subscribers, an estate with infrastructure that will be a reference point.
