The Carol & Prince Arheghan Foundation, in partnership with the Bank of Industry, is proud to announce the upcoming Business Summit ’24, themed “Building a Sustainable Business Model in a Challenging Economy.” This transformative event is scheduled to take place on November 30th, 2024, at the Emmunah Conference Center, 53 Oguntade Road, off Shasha Road, Akowonjo, Lagos.

The Business Summit ’24 aims to empower entrepreneurs with practical strategies and skills to scale their businesses, overcome challenges, and build sustainable business models. The event features an impressive lineup of seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts, including Prince Arheghan, Chairman of Karotiz Couture; Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze, Founder of Accounting Hub & Chioma Business School; and Stella Adebayo, Founder of BizGrant.

“At this summit, business owners will leave with practical knowledge and clear next steps for scaling their businesses. They’ll know exactly what to do, where to go, and who to talk to in order to move forward. Attendees will gain actionable, proven strategies and skills that they can immediately apply to help their businesses thrive. Additionally, they’ll become part of a supportive community, with a dedicated forum where they can continue to learn, collaborate, and grow. A committee will be created for every attendee, giving them ongoing access to resources, networking opportunities, and relationships that can help foster their business growth long after the summit ends.”

“We are thrilled to host this business summit, which promises to be a game-changer for Nigerian entrepreneurs,” said Carol Arheghan, Convener of the Business Summit ’24 and CEO/Creative Director of Karotiz Couture. “Our goal is to provide a platform where business owners can share insights, gain inspiration, and be empowered to take their businesses to the next level.”

“The inspiration behind this summit comes from my personal journey as a business owner. It’s been a lonely road, navigating growth without guidance or support. I saw a need for a platform where business owners could come together to share insights, gain inspiration, and be empowered to scale their businesses. This summit aims to help entrepreneurs reflect on the past year, overcome challenges, and build sustainable business models for greater success in the coming year.”

The conveners also spoke about the theme and focus of the summit:

“This year’s theme, Building a Sustainable Business Model in a challenging economy focuses on practical strategies that empower business owners to thrive, even in challenging times. It’s about exploring proven methods and innovative approaches to create strong, adaptable business models that ensure long-term success and resilience in our ventures.”

Carol told pressmen that, “the summit is designed for business owners and entrepreneurs who are eager to scale their businesses. It’s for those ready to thrive, learn, and grow by networking and collaborating with like-minded individuals, all with the goal of taking their businesses to the next level.

“This Business summit stands out from conventional business events in many ways. It’s not just about talks; it’s about empowering business owners with actionable skills and proven strategies shared by experienced entrepreneurs who have successfully scaled their businesses.

“What truly sets this summit apart is its focus on real impact. Grants will be awarded to business owners to support their growth, and the Bank of Industry will provide exclusive insights on accessing business loans, equipping attendees with practical financial tools.

“Best of all, this transformative experience is absolutely free. The convener, Carol Arheghan is a passionate business owner with a deep desire to ensure businesses don’t just survive but thrive, leaving them far better than she found them.”

His commitment to fostering growth and excellence has made him a respected figure, and he continues to motivate others to be better at what they do.

“The criteria for selecting the speakers for this summit were based on their proven success rates, their extensive experience, and the support they’ve provided to entrepreneurs over the years. The impact they’ve made is evident through the numerous testimonies and tangible results of their work. I firmly believe that you can’t give what you don’t have, and that’s why I carefully chose a group of speakers who not only have a track record of success but have also walked the path themselves. They’ve experienced the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, understanding the challenges of failure and the triumphs of success. This is the foundation of the speaker lineup for this summit—entrepreneurs who have truly been through the journey and can provide invaluable insights.”

Also worthy of note:

Other notable speakers at this summit include officials from the Bank of Industry. We will have an interactive session with them, where they’ll share valuable insights into the facilities their bank offers to help business owners scale. During this session, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions, and the panel will provide answers on what it takes, the requirements, and how business owners can better position themselves to qualify for these facilities. It’s a unique chance to gain firsthand knowledge on accessing the resources that can propel your business forward
