Coscharis, BMW celebrate customers as golf tournament takes stage
BWM and its franchise dealer in Nigeria, Coscharis Motors fete premium customers of the brand in Lagos as the firms hosted the yearly BMW golf competition, as part of a corporate social responsibility programmes.
Speaking at the event, President of Coscharis Group, Cosmas Maduka, reiterated that the organisation traditionally sees the event as an opportunity to host, appreciate and celebrate all BMW customers and other players that have relationship with the brand.
Maduka, who was represented by the company’s Executive Director Fred Amobi, said the event “is a platform we use to appreciate BMW customers who have been loyal to the brand over the years.”
The company’s General Manager, Marketing & Corporate Communications, Abiona Babarinde, said: “As a premium brand, BMW resonates perfectly with the elite game of golf and that is why every year, Coscharis will always bring customers, stakeholders together to celebrate with the golf tournament and have a representative at the world cup, which comes up at a particular place every year.
The event, which also had on display recent models of BMW usually start with a local tournament, where the eventual winner will represent the nation at the world tournament yearly, Babarinde said.
“It goes beyond the game of golf. We are using this sport, golf, to celebrate our customers and bring them together to enjoy the game they love.”
Delta State Commissioner of Women affairs, Community and Social Development, Omatsola Williams, emerged as one of the winners, where Adetunji Adebayo emerged the overall winner and will represent the country at BMW World Golf Tournament in Dubai next year.
