Igbobi College old boys’ association elects new council members
Members of Igbobi College Old Boys’ Association, (ICOBA) have returned Mr. Olumuyiwa Kinoshi as president of the council to lead the association for another two years. His mandate was renewed at the just concluded 2020 yearly general meeting during which there was a hybrid edition held at the college in Lagos.
The Association also unveiled programmes for social good in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of their alma mater. In his acceptance speech, Kinoshi thanked members of the association for the confidence reposed in him, while promising to continue all ongoing projects and bridge the gap between old and new members.
The new executives include first vice president, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya; second assistant secretary, Jamiu Babatunde; Treasurer, Wasiu Adedayo and Assistant Financial Secretary, Coker Folarin.
Others are second vice president, Mobolaji Falase; secretary, Deji Balogun; first assistant secretary, Oluwasegun Ola-Dawodu, financial secretary, Nathaniel Adeyemi; social secretary, Olusegun Adeyemi; assistant social secretary, Kolawole Ogunbajo; publicity secretary, Olajide Segun Mcmedal; assistant publicity secretary, Olufemi Bankole; 80s to 2000 decade representatives, Abayomi Idowu; Sedun Wasiu and Tunbosun Falase respectively as well as ex-officio, Femi Olubanwo were returned unopposed.
ICOBA chairmen of Ibadan, Abuja, North America and Europe, Olatokunbo Ajasin, Jonathan Robson-Odugbemi, Wale Gbalajobi and Deji Okubadejo respectively, also returned as members of the council.
The association is run by the national executive council, which coordinates all its activities.
