Use your skills to make impacts, VC urges graduands
The Chancellor, Lead City University (LCU), Ibadan, Prof. Gabriel Ogunmola and the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Adeyemo, have charged the graduating students to make impacts, and shape the world with skills acquired from the institution.
Speaking at the 17th convocation ceremony of the university, Ogunmola urged the graduands to embrace their unique and evolving journey as leaders.
“As you embark on your respective journeys, remember that your greatest impact will often come from how you use your service to empower those around you. Take the time needed to connect with others, understand their strengths, aspirations, and fears, and invest in their growth,” Ogunmola said.
On his part, Adeyemo urged the graduands to proceed with confidence, courage, and the assurance to leave a lasting mark,” Ognunmola stated. He said: “Lead City University has equipped you with knowledge, skills, and values of integrity, excellence, and a commitment to community, use these to make a meaningful impact in the world.”
