Allahumuiz celebrates first MaoludNabiyy in style
A newly established Islamic society, Allahumuiz Islamic Association, has encouraged Muslims to rejuvenate their faith in the service of Allah (SWT) as the group felicitated with Muslims all over the world on the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Members of the group dressed in white with purple hijab were chanting the salawat of the Noble Prophet (saw) during the celebration.
Speaking during the event, a chartered Accountant, Alhaji Musbaudeen Adelanwa, said MaoludNabiyy is an opportunity to show gratitude to Almighty Allah on the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
“This should be encouraged because it reminds us a lot about the Prophet Muhammad (SAW),his good deedsand exemplary lifestyle that should be emulated. An event like this is a reminder to emulate the good attributes of the Prophet (SAW).”
He said the best way to celebrate the Holy Prophet is to abide by the doctrine of Islam which is service to humanity and mankind. He called on the Nigerian government to rule with the fear of God Almighty and be steadfast and transparent in their dealings.
“They should always remember that they are elected into positions to serve the citizens. With the fear of God, whatever project they embark on will come out successful.”
He acknowledged the challenges faced by Nigerians over the past year, but expressed optimism that succour would soon come.
“We the citizens must always pray for the leaders to fulfil their promises. Everybody is complaining today because of the high cost of living and this is the result of some of the steps the government has taken in recent times, particularly the fuel subsidy removal. If there is anything the government can do to cushion the effect, they should not hesitate to do it.
Things are very hard, I have no doubt in my mind that if they pray well and come closer to God, He will show them the right direction and all citizens will be happy and they will continue to pray for them.”
He commended the founder and members of the foundation, saying with transparency, the organization will soar higher. “They should mean well for oneanother, they should prioritize soul-lifting lectures. The organization is starting well but they must be honest if they want to grow in leaps and bounds. Those big Islamic organisations start from somewhere and today they have branches all over the country, Alhumuiz can also get to that level.”
