Oluwaseun Ipede pioneers research linking urban green spaces to mental health

Oluwaseun Ipede’s groundbreaking research on the impact of green and blue spaces on mental health is shaping how we understand the relationship between urban environments and human well-being. His ongoing research on the relationship between urban oasis and mental health in the United States has already won him a competitive travel grant to present at the prestigious American Association of Geographers (AAG) International Conference in March 2025.

His accolades include winning the GIS Day Savannah Competition and the prestigious Derek and Donna Alderman Family Endowed Scholarship.
