Jeral ‘JD’ Davis & Tall Glass of jewels to host month long basketball boot camp

Jeral ‘JD’ Davis has concluded arrangements to begin a vocational and basketball training boot camp in June. He revealed this to some of his fans and followers during an Instagram live session. He said the original plan was to set up 3 centers, but because of covid 19 pandemic restrictions, the training will be held virtually daily with two in person trainings weekly.

He said it will be an opportunity to teach participants the rudiments or being a basketball player as well as an athlete. “There’s a difference between playing just for the love of the game and playing professionally” Jeral said. He said campers will also be taught the importance of having another skill other than balling to fall back on when they retire or if injury causes them to retire prematurely.

Davis said the boot camp will give the participants an added advantage in the job market. “I hope to enlist the help of some of my athlete colleagues and celebrity friends as mentors and instructors for the camp” he said.

He went further to say that even though this is the first edition, he intends to make it a yearly affair and so he is pulling out all the stops to bring in professionals to help trainees acquire skills that will enable them take care of themselves and/or their families one day.

The training boot camp will be a 1 month long affair aimed at teaching and helping the participants acquire skills that will improve their lives.

He said interested persons will be instructed on how to apply for the workshop via his social media pages and on a dedicated website that will be set up specifically for the boot camp. “Participation will be free, but it will be on first come first serve basis as there will only be 30 slots available in line with CDC social distancing guidelines” Jeral reiterated.
