Peju Ogundipe’s story is one of passion, determination, and a deep commitment to transforming healthcare systems.

Peju Ogundipe’s story is one of passion, determination, and a deep commitment to transforming healthcare systems. Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, Peju witnessed the disparities in healthcare access, inspiring her to dedicate her life to bridging these gaps for underserved communities worldwide.

Armed with an MBA from the University of Michigan and an MSc in Global Health and Development from University College London, Peju has built a career at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and public health. “I’ve always believed that access to quality healthcare shouldn’t depend on where you live or what you earn,” she says. “This belief has guided every step of my journey.”

Today, Peju serves as the Director of Operations at Change Resource and Support Services, where she leads efforts to expand mental health services in Maryland and Oregon. Under her leadership, the organization has scaled its programs to serve more vulnerable populations, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while enhancing service quality.

Her global health expertise spans some of the world’s most pressing challenges, including HIV/AIDS and COVID-19. During her tenure at 54gene, Peju played a pivotal role in optimizing clinical trial processes and advancing vital research in Nigeria. These efforts not only contributed to public health but also highlighted the need for localized solutions in tackling global health crises.

In Cross River State, Nigeria, she led the implementation of differentiated HIV care models tailored to meet community needs. “Listening to communities and designing solutions that work for them is at the heart of effective healthcare,” Peju explains. “That’s where real change begins.”

Her innovative mindset extends to her work at Eli Lilly, where she developed a telehealth strategy to address obesity care, potentially reaching over 600,000 patients. This groundbreaking approach underscored the role of technology in improving healthcare access for underserved areas.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Peju is passionate about mentorship and leadership development. As a career coach for MBA students and a Health Innovation Scholar, she nurtures the next generation of healthcare leaders.

Looking ahead, Peju envisions a world where equitable healthcare is a reality, not just an aspiration. “We have the tools, the talent, and the drive to make healthcare accessible to everyone,” she says. “It’s up to us to take bold steps and make it happen.”

From Lagos to the global stage, Peju Ogundipe continues to lead with purpose, striving to create a healthier and more inclusive world for all.
