This holiday season, families can add a touch of inspiration to their festivities with the release of The Brightest Star of All by a homeschooling mother and first-time author, Busayo Adebowale.

In the book, Busayo tells the story of a star that, despite feeling inadequate, discovers its unique purpose as the guiding light for the wise men’s journey to Jesus. Through the narrative, she imparts a timeless message of embracing individuality and empowering children to recognise their potential.

As a homeschooling mum of two daughters, Adebowale brings a personal touch to her storytelling. Her experience in homeschooling becomes evident in the simplicity and relatability of the book’s language, making it accessible to young readers.

“The Brightest Star of All is not just a captivating story; it’s a testament to the belief that every child, like every star, possesses a distinct brilliance that can illuminate the world. I wanted to create a story that resonates with children, encouraging them to embrace their differences and understand the unique light they bring to the world.

“As a homeschooling mum, I see the potential in every child, and I hope this book inspires them to shine brightly in their own way.” Busayo envisions her book becoming a valuable resource for parents, educators and caregivers, fostering conversations about self-worth and diversity.

She added: “The Brightest Star of All is not just a Christmas story; it’s a timeless reminder that our differences make us extraordinary. It is now available in local bookstores and online retailers, just in time to be a cherished addition to holiday reading traditions.”
