Oladoyin Taiwo: “My lifelong mission is to help individuals transit from mere potential to actualization.”

In order to achieve these set goals in the area of personnel development, earlier on this year, I started a forum called “THINKTANK” to help provide peer-to-peer mentorship as a means of support to individuals.

Stemming from her passion in helping people excel, she organizes workshops, seminars and now a conference targeted at professionals and business owners to help them build capacity for economic growth. Her utmost desire is to see people move from mere potentials to the actualization of purpose.

Doyin holds an MBA in Marketing from Keller School of Management, Chicago IL USA and a B.Sc in Mass Communication from Covenant University, Ota Nigeria. She is a member of Sigma Beta Delta, an International Honor Society recognizing and promoting achievement in business, management and administration. Oladoyin shared with Guardian Woman the purpose of hosting “The Evolving Woman”.

Oladoyin: I have always had the desire to see women come together to do great things on a bigger platform. So, the connector in me by nature, decided to work on bringing value to my network by helping them connect dots and creating links to help them excel in their chosen area of endeavor. And this has always been my most favorite thing to do. Quoting Helen Keller; she said, “alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” That’s why I have committed to constantly create learning/networking and growth opportunities for women.

In order to achieve these set goals in the area of personnel development, earlier on this year, I started a forum called “THINKTANK” to help provide peer-to-peer mentorship as a means of support to individuals. The aim of the forum is simply for individuals in the same age, business or career bracket serving as a resource/a helping hand/ or a sounding board in any area of endeavor. As we have all come to know, that life can be very challenging so we all need a peer mentor to help provide that needed support, encouragement and information to us whenever we need it. This is opened to all genders.

As an addition to that, I still had a growing concern for women related issues. So, I worked with a team of ladies from ThinkTank to help bridge the need to foster development through purposeful personal, career and business growth. Which I believe will help build leadership capacity for more women to achieve great things despite the economy situation.

The Evolving Woman is not another “feel good” event to check of the list of to do for the year. It’s one that any lady attending should see as an investment in her self. As she stands to gain practical tips for personal branding, career advancement and tools for business growth. Also, she will have the privilege to network with relevance. All this is aimed at helping attendees evolve to their next profitable level.

Attending promises to leave individuals with clarity, answers to unresolved questions, confidence to move in the direction of their dreams and actionable plans for the next steps to achieve greater things.

Finally, going forward, in order to accommodate all these initiatives, my consulting/coaching business formerly known as Delatour Consulting Limited, will now be doing business as “Profit with Doyin”starting August 2016 with a sparkling new website www.profitwithdoyin.com.

I believe this will enable me help more women through their journey of establishing, developing and transitioning different phases of growth into building that profitable business.
