Olamma Africa pageant to honour five Igbo women
The Miss Olamma Africa Pageant has unveiled plans to honour five exceptional Igbo women during the grand finale of the Season two event.
Speaking at a media briefing in Enugu organised to herald the event, founder of the pageant and CEO, Emvirtue Network, Ogbuefi Emmanuel Ezima reiterated that in Season one of the pageant, there was the Olamma Africa Pathfinders Award, which recognised Igbo men, who have excelled in business, leadership and governance, but the season two themed Ifenkili (a wonder to behold) will focus solely on women who are leading from the frontlines.
“We will focus on women who are inspiring the next generation of African women, and modelling change through enterprise, excellence, culture, philanthropy and innovation,” he said.
Miss Olamma Africa Pageant, which has been dubbed the biggest Pan-Igbo pageant in the world, is open to Igbo ladies between 18-28 yrs of age, resident anywhere in the world. The winners of season 2 will be showered with mouthwatering cash prizes, cars, vacation, media engagements, brand endorsements and so on.
The grand finally will have celebrities, captains of industries, leaders, influencers with glitz and glamour.
