The Joyed Up 2024 conference, themed ‘Kadosh,’ was a transformative gathering that left indelible mark on the minds of all attendees.

Convened by Bolu Onasanya, a keynote speaker and mental wellness expert, the conference drew participants from Lagos and beyond, including students from Covenant University and University of Lagos.

This year’s event stood out with the inclusion of The Joy Kids Conference, chaired by co-convener Lanre Onasanya (fondly called Aunty Lanre), creating a holistic experience for families.

The conference featured an impressive lineup of speakers, including the renowned Debola Deji-Kurunmi, along with seasoned professionals and business owners. The atmosphere was charged with positive energy and divine presence, making the event a phenomenal experience that addressed deep-seated issues in the lives of individuals.

One of the most touching moments was the hug session, where broken men and women found healing, letting go of emotional hurts and bitterness.

Deji-Kurunmi, in her keynote address, emphasized the importance of understanding our identity and the times we live in. She called on believers to be extensions of God’s glory, highlighting that the sophistication of our era demands individuals who walk in kingship. This powerful message resonated deeply with the attendees, reinforcing the essence of the Joyed Up organization.

Joyed Up is not just a conference; it is a movement spreading the gospel of ‘Joy to the world.’ In a world filled with negativity and economic challenges, Joyed Up stands as a beacon of hope, countering despair with its mandate: ‘Joy to the world, light has come!’ This mission is evident in every aspect of their work, from books and devotionals to monthly Joy Meetings held every last Friday.

To Deji-Kurunmi, “Kadosh,” refers to identity of believers, those set apart. Drawing from Hebrews 12, she described “Kadosh” as being set apart for divine purpose. The panel, which included influential figures like Oluwatobi Sola-Abiola, Funto Ibuoye, Temi Olukunle, Omiete Charles-Davies, Freeman Osonuga, and Damilola Sanmi-Abiodun, further enriched the conference with their insights and expertise.

For over seven years, Joyed Up has been a source of light and joy to over 35,000 people worldwide. The organization continues to make significant impact through its various initiatives. Bolu Onasanya, the convener, recently published ‘Light Be,’ an Amazon bestseller in new releases, further cementing his influence as a mental wellness expert and author.

The Joy Kids Conference, under Lanre Onasanya’s leadership, was equally impactful. It provided a fun, highly engaging, and unforgettable experience for children, ensuring that the message of joy and wholeness reaches every age group.
