Police PPRO in Taraba dies after illness
The Taraba State Police Command has confirmed the death of its spokesman, Abdullahi Usman, after brief illness.
Usman, who had been in the post for the past three years, died on Sunday in Jalingo, Taraba State according to the police report.
Gambo Kwache, Usman’s assistant who has been acting on his behalf due to his illness, confirmed his principal’s death.
“He was sick, although not much, until last night when he started struggling with the sickness; we wanted to take him to the Federal
Medical Center (FMC) Jalingo,” Kwache said.
“Before we could get there, he died on the way. He was later confirmed dead when we arrived at the FMC.”
