We’re bringing world-class education opportunities to Nigerian students – Think Canada
The Think Canada Education Fair, a renowned platform connecting Nigerian students with top Canadian universities, is set to hold its much-anticipated roadshow in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event, scheduled to run from Thursday, January 23 to Saturday, January 25, 2025, promises to offer students, parents, and educators an exclusive chance to interact with representatives from over 20 Canadian higher institutions.
Speaking on the event, event coordinator, Ayodeji Babatunde, said: “We are thrilled to bring the Think Canada Education Fair to Ibadan. This roadshow is a testament to our commitment to providing Nigerian students with access to quality education abroad. We believe this event will inspire and empower students to pursue their dreams in Canada.”
On the programme execution, he added, “It’s a three-day programme that will kick off with school visits, where representatives will engage penultimate and final-year students in both cities. These sessions will provide vital information on admission requirements, scholarships, application deadlines, and available courses.
“The final day will feature a mini-education fair in each city. The fair will serve as a hub for students and their families to directly network with Canadian university representatives, seek personalised advice on study options, and gain insights into scholarships, visa application procedures, and student life in Canada.”
Canada is increasingly becoming a preferred destination for international students due to its high academic standards, multicultural environment, and welcoming communities. The organisers stressed that the roadshow provides a golden opportunity for Nigerian students to explore these prospects and plan their future.
