Adventure Time Set For New Film, Prequel In The Works

The cherished animated series Adventure Time is about to broaden its universe with an upcoming film and two new spin-off series. Warners Bros disclosed this thrilling news. Animation Studio’s panel at the Annecy Animation Festival.

While specific details about the film are under wraps, the project has already gathered a remarkable team of animation experts. Among them are Rebecca Steven, creator of Steven Universe; Patrick McHale, co-creator of Over the Garden Wall; and Adam Muto, the executive producer of Adventure Time. These experienced animation creators have fans rest assured that the film and prequel will be nothing short of spectacular.

Adventure Time: Side Quests

The first spin-off of the series, Adventure Time: Side Quests, has gotten the green light from Cartoon Network Studios (CNS). The storyline will transport viewers back to Finn, the main character’s childhood. Filled with dreams of their signature grand adventures and monster battles, his best friend, Jake the Dog will also be present. Unlike the multiple seasons of the original series, Side Quests will have stand-alone episodes focusing on the earliest versions of side characters.

Adventure Time: Heyo BMO

The second spin-off series, Adventure Time: Heyo BMO, is currently in the works. Although, the target audience for this series is preschoolers. The series will see BMO move to a new neighbourhood and encounter challenges with his new set of friends. This series is for their younger audience.

Adventure Time is a cartoon that first premiered on April 5, 2010. It was made by Pendleton Ward and co-produced by Frederator Studios for Cartoon Network. The series revolves around the bizarre adventures of a boy named Finn and his best friend, a dog with magical powers named Jake.

The show is a symbol of childhood nostalgia for many and it has developed a loyal fan base spanning over fifteen years.
