Coronation Street achieved remarkable success at the prestigious 2023 British Soap Awards, triumphing with multiple prestigious accolades.
Since its inception in 1999, this annual ceremony has been dedicated to recognizing outstanding moments in British soap operas, featuring esteemed categories like Best British Soap, Best Dramatic Performance, and Best Storyline.

The decision of Phillip Schofield to relinquish his hosting responsibilities has been a prominent topic of discussion this year. Following his departure from the channel, where he candidly confessed to lying about his affair with a younger colleague on This Morning, the news garnered significant attention.

With limited time available before the event, renowned singer and TV presenter Jane McDonald stepped in to assume the role in his absence, ensuring a seamless transition for the proceedings.
The eagerly awaited gala, attended by a constellation of stars, unfolded on Saturday, June 3, at The Lowry in Salford. Although the event will be televised a few days later, fans eagerly anticipate witnessing the excitement unfold on their screens.
