Fireboy Set To Release Sophomore Album “Apollo” On August 20
Music rave of the moment Fireboy has announced August 20 as the release date for his sophomore album, Apollo.
The YBNL-signed artiste made the announcement on his Instagram and Twitter pages.
The social media post read:
“The debut was a dream, I showed you guys ‘Damola, You saw perfection – So how human am I to think myself a god?… my sophomore album, Apollo. out on the 20th of August.”

Apollo will be a follow up to his successful debut album, Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps, which was released in 2019.
Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps (abbreviated as LTG) was released by YBNL Nation on November 29, 2019. The album comprises 13 tracks and doesn’t feature any guest artist.
Ahead of the release of “Apollo,” the music star has released two singles “New York City Girl” and “Eli.“
The singer is also currently making waves with his recent collaboration on “Ogaranya” with Nigerian rapper Reminisce.
Born Adedamola Adefolahan, known professionally as Fireboy DML, developed an interest in music while studying at Obafemi Awolowo University.
His breakthrough single “Jealous” first appeared on YBNL Nation’s collaborative album YBNL Mafia Family (2018), before being re-released on 25 March 2019.
He won Listener’s Choice and was nominated for Song of the Year for “Jealous” at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.
