Funke Akindele Mourns the death of colleague Aderounmu Adejumoke, known for her role as “Esther” in the beloved Jenifer’s Diary series. She revealed this in an Instagram post.
Aderounmu Adejumoke was announced dead on April 6th, 2024, at the age 40. While the cause of her death is unknown, her burial arrangements have been announced.
Adeola Aderounmu, the brother of the actress, announced her passing on his Instagram story on Sunday.
Funke Akindele shared the image on her Instagram reels, acknowledging the death of the actress, with the caption “You are in a better place now my sister”.
Aderounmu starred in various films includes “Arugba,” produced by Tunde Kelani in 2008, starring alongside Bukky Wright, Bukola Awoyemi, and Segun Adefila. Also famed for playing the role of Esther, in Jenifer’s Diary.
She also worked on movie projects like Alakada 2 and Wings of My Dreams, among others.
