Having a bad day?  Relax a nerve! It happens to the best of us. Especially when the workload is much, and you are feeling pressured to meet your deadlines. But don’t worry, there are simple mindful tips to turn things around. See below and infuse it daily; it will help:

1. Take a deep breath

This might seem obvious, but it’s incredibly effective. Close your eyes, inhale deeply, and hold for a few seconds. Exhale slowly, releasing any tension. Imagine the stress melting away like a hot day’s humidity.

2. Pay attention to your lunch as you munch

Another tip is to pay attention to your food. Instead of scarfing down your lunch, savour each bite. Notice the textures, flavours, and aromas. This can help ground you and reduce stress. Think about it like enjoying a plate of Jollof rice or a bowl of Egusi soup with the same care you’d give to a delicious meal at a roadside joint.
