Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, known as 2Baba, has been seen shopping with Natasha Osawuru at a hair store, sparking more reactions over his relationship with the Edo lawmaker.

This comes just after concerns were raised by his family over his sudden disappearance.

A video making rounds online on Friday showed the African Queen crooner strolling through the store with Osawuru, checking out hair products.

His relaxed attitude in the clip has stirred different opinions, especially since reports earlier claimed that his family had asked the Department of State Services (DSS) to help find him.

On Thursday, another viral clip showed 2Baba proposing to Osawuru as they danced together, surrounded by their friends.

Family raises alarm over 2Baba’s state of mind

His mother, Rose Idibia, has openly expressed her displeasure, asking Natasha to stay away from her son.
According to her, 2Baba is not emotionally stable, as his divorce from Annie Idibia has not been finalised.
She insisted that Natasha’s presence in his life at this moment is unnecessary, adding that the singer is struggling with the messy separation.

“Yes, I love her” – 2Baba defends his new love

Reacting to all the talk, 2Baba took to Instagram to clear the air.

In his words, “Allegedly, I have seen so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted. Yes, I posted what I posted.”

He also defended Osawuru, shutting down claims that she caused his marital crisis.

“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage. Yes, I love her. She is amazing, and she is cool. I want to marry her.”

Who is Natasha Osawuru?

Osawuru, a rising politician, is a serving member of the Edo State House of Assembly. Representing Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), she secured her position in the House in April 2023.
She hails from Egor Local Government Area of Edo State and has been gaining attention, not just for her political career but also for her growing closeness with the music icon.
