Zinwe ‘Lose Guard’, Evicted From BBNaija as the Chekas Rides On

The Zinwe pair has been evicted from season 9 of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show.

Chinwe Elibe and Zion Ogiefa became the fifth pair to be evicted from this season’s edition tagged ‘No Lose Guard,’ following the Tami, Ndinne, Streeze, and Flourish pairs.

Fans of the show were not surprised by the eviction, as they blamed Chinwe for being selfish with her emotions, which put off housemates and viewers. They doubt if their relationship will survive after the eviction.

On Monday, August 19, 2024, three pairs were put up for possible eviction on Sunday, August 24, 2024.

The Beta pair, who survived eviction last week, were included in the eviction list alongside the Chekas and Zinwe this week but managed to escape.

On Sunday, August 18, 2024, the show’s organisers adjusted some of the rules for the ongoing season.

The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced that Biggie had abolished the Custodian Challenge and the HOH ballot, as well as stripped the housemates of the power to vote for the eviction of the bottom four pairs.

Zinwe came last in the vote with 12.76 per cent of the total votes cast.
The Chekas, who survived this week’s eviction, received 17.34 per cent of the vote, while Betas came second with 14.04 per cent of the vote.
