CIBA Hospitality Limited, a subsidiary of CIBA Construction Company Limited, has joined forces with Marriot International on the development and management of the Obudu Mountain Resort, formerly Obudu Cattle Ranch.

The Group Managing Director of CIBA Construction Company, Josiah Samuel, in a statement, announced the company’s partnership with Marriot International on the project.

CIBA was recently picked by the Cross River State government as a preferred concessionaire to redesign, redevelop and upscale the resort.

Samuel held that this company’s partnership with Marriot International will further strengthen the investment plan, as well as fashion out the revamp strategy and management of the resort.

He stated that the two firms would work to revive and reposition the Obudu Mountain Resort to stand out as one of the recognisable touch-points in tourism industry in Africa.

The Director of Development in charge of West Africa for Marriot Hotels International, Dami Adepoju, who was at the resort recently, said the visit to the resort was to assess the current state of the resort, as well as fashion out the development road map for remodeling and expansion of the facility.
