Algeria’s Hamdaoui Zineb wins gold in women’s 200m rifle prone

Hamdaoui Zineb representing Algeria, scored 217 points after six series of 10 rounds of shots to claim gold in the 200m rifle prone position of the 2nd Africa military games.
The Algerian began on the right pedestal on day four of the shooting event at the Shittu Alao barrack keffi I scoring 31 points to take the lead In the first series among nine competitors
Her 32-point score was second best in the second series behind Nigerian Army o warrant officer Ayuba.
Hamdaoui raised her game in the third series Scoring 49 points to consolidate her number one position in the women’s 200n prone event.

She maintained her composure in the last three series to claim Gold Kenya’s Agata Muchiri who got the gold medal in the 200m rifle standing position settled for the silver with a total of 200 points while the Nigerian Army’s Lt Gloria Okafor got the bronze medal with a total 182 points.
Kenya got the team gold in the event Nigeria silver and Algeria bronze.
