Bago allocates land for NITDA’s regional office in Minna
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has allocated a piece of land to the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) for the establishment of its Regional Agency in Minna.
The governor presented the Certificate of Occupancy to the Director General of NITDA Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi in Abuja.
Bago, who re-echoed the significance of Information Technology to the overall growth and development of any Society, said his administration is keen on keeping pace with technological advancement in line with global best practices.
He said the creation of Niger State Ministry of Communication Technology and Digital economy was in tandem with his desire in advancing the technological landscape of the State.
Earlier, NITDA Director-General, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, appreciated the governor’s efforts aimed at promoting the growth and development of the agency.
He disclosed that NITDA will also build a Center of Excellence for Agric Technology in Niger State.
