Company slashes cooking gas price by 30% in Enugu
An Enugu-based Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Company, Second Coming Nigeria Limited (Ltd), has offered a 30 per cent reduction in cooking gas prices to over 4,000 residents in the state.
The company, yesterday, mentioned that the price reduction was in honour of Governor Peter Mbah’s first anniversary in office, emphasising that the reduction from N960 to N672 represents over N20 million subsidy.
According to the company, the reduction in gas prices, which coincides with May 29 of Mbah’s inauguration, at the company’s four gas plant branches within Enugu state, not only celebrates his leadership but also demonstrates the company’s commitment to its customers and community at large.
Mbah said that the gesture by the company was a testament to the striving business environment in Enugu State.
The governor, represented by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Aka Eze Aka, said that the current administration had de-risked the business environment and improved in all indices of Ease-of-Doing-Business in the state.
“Security for both investors and customers has been achieved, as the state ranks as one of the safest states in the country; where everybody moves around and engages in business endeavours freely, not minding the hour,” Aka said.
