CU lecturer Opeyemi Joel wins HR impact award

Covenant University lecturer Dr. Opeyemi Joel was honoured with the prestigious Industry Impact Award at the 2024 HR Excellence Awards, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the HR profession.

The award ceremony was the highlight of the 2024 HR Conference and Community Fest, hosted by HR Talent Hub NG under the visionary leadership of Dr. Omotola Adedapo, also known as The Talent Builder.

Omotola, a globally recognized HR leader and certified coach, has made significant strides in fostering career excellence and HR best practices through her HR Talent Hub NG platform.

The event, themed “Evolve. Ignite. Impact,” featured an HR Conference, and a Career Fair, and concluded with the HR Excellence Dinner and Awards, attended by over 400 industry professionals physically and virtually.

At the ceremony, Opeyemi, who currently heads the Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management Unit at Covenant University, was recognized for her outstanding contributions to shaping the HR profession.
