ElegantFlix magazine to showcase talents, cultural heritage in Nigeria
Publisher of ElegantFlix Magazine, Florence Okonkwo, popularly known as Queen of Red carpet, had said the magazine will showcase talents and cultural heritage in Nigeria.
The London-Nollywood prolific executive producer, who revealed this during launch of the magazine in London, said the monthly publication was born to be an embodiment of information about the who is who in politics, education, media, film, music, fashion, sports and entertainment.
She said: “The content will cut across cultures with vetted information, creating awareness and up to date information about your favourite celebrities.
“The art and beauty of Nigerians will be showcased to a larger audience, to inform, entertain and educate without barriers of age, tribe, race and ethnicity. The importance of this magazine is to bring exposure to the talent and rich cultural heritage of Nigerians and the country.”
Okonkwo said the magazine will also tackle issues of fake news, as reports will be vetted by professionals before publication noting that the magazine would be available for all age groups to learn and enjoy.
“Our executives, reporters and ambassadors are persons of high moral standards who have distinguished themselves over the years in their careers. The magazine is so unique in its presentation and dominated with high resolution photographs celebrating people, places and the beauty of Nigerians,” she added.
