Godwin Aigboviose Omage, has stressed the need for sustainable action to mitigate the devastating impacts of climate change in Nigeria.

Omage, who made the call in a statement disclosed that his firm would be leading the largest tree planting exercise in Africa on October 1st, 2024, in celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day.

Stressing the need to decarbonize the earth through innovative digital products and tree planting efforts, said the move would be a significant step toward a sustainable future.

“The initiative aligns with the company’s mission to decarbonize the Earth through its innovative digital products and tree planting efforts, marking a significant step toward a sustainable future.

He said the event, which promises to gather thousands of participants, will commence at the National Stadium in Abuja, serving as the launch point for the tree planting activities, urging Nigerians to join the occasion, where they can connect with like-minded individuals, support a crucial environmental cause, and contribute to the global fight against climate change.
