Eze-igbo Ghana, Ihenetu congratulates Trump on his inauguration
Commends his message of hope, world peace
Following the inauguration of Donald Trump Snr. as the 47th President of the United States of America, on Monday, January 20, 2025, the Igbo diaspora king in the Republic of Ghana, His Royal Majesty, Eze Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Ezeigbo Ghana) has joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ghanaian President, John Mahama and other African regional leaders to congratulate him on the successful swearing- in ceremony.
The Eze in a statement by his Director on Media Strategy and Communications, Njoku Macdonald Obinna, said: “I wish to congratulate President Donald J. Trump on your inauguration as the 47th President of the United States of America.
“The story of your remarkable comeback as leader of the Free World is a true reflection of the power of resilience and hard work, as well as the American people’s embrace of your agenda for their country.
“The strength of the American democracy – including the peaceful transfer of power between political parties – has helped shape governance around the world, including that of the Republic of Ghana as experienced during their last presidential elections. Our shared history as Nigerians and the U.S. continuous contribution to the growth and development of our country has positively impacted our nation and the African region.
“Just like most African leaders, I am also inspired by your hope and the priority you place on world peace. It is my expectation that America’s global leadership under the Trump Presidency will make America great again and the world a better place.”
Emphasizing on a number of the key points in his inaugural speech Eze Ihenetu, however, saluted the courage of President Trump in repealing same sex marriage and homosexual practices in the United States of America, appreciated him for recognising only ‘male and female gender’.
