The Founder and Chairman of Grace So Amazing Foundation and the publisher of The Word For Today, Pastor Erastus Akingbola, has said that the mission is set to print four million  copies of The Word For Today every quarter, as it was doing before.

The Founder and Chairman of Grace So Amazing Foundation and the publisher of The Word For Today, Pastor Erastus Akingbola, has said that the mission is set to print four million  copies of The Word For Today every quarter, as it was doing before.

Speaking during the activities to mark the 20th anniversary of the foundation in Lagos, he said that the mission was reaching out to about 110,000 people but would soon reach four million people every quarter as before.

He said: “We will print and distribute four million copies quarterly. We have many distributors. But we are building it up again, little by little.”

Akingbola said that there is the need to give thanks to the Lord for his faithfulness

He disclosed that the achievements of the mission could not be over-emphasised.

He said: “We have been able to spread God’s gospel all over the West African countries. There was a time when there was no major town in Nigeria where you didn’t see The Word For Today. And we have distributed in prisons and hospitals. Also, we have the prayer lines to help people in their daily lives.”

He continued: “What led to the mission was that I come from a Christian background. My father was a catechist in Anglican Church and he has passion for prayers. In fact, on Sundays, he would go to villages to preach. That is what informed the mission to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
