No fewer than 800 hundred secondary school students in Ido-Ekiti has benefitted from the maiden edition of free summer coaching of the Deji Ogunbusuyi Foundation (DOF).

The free coaching held during the long holiday was organized for students from JSS 1 to SSS 3 in the headquarters of the Ido/Osi area of Ekiti State and its environs.

Speaking on his motive behind the initiative, the convener, Deji Ogunbusuyi said it was part of DOF’s interventions in education, and community development to engage students in learning in preparation for the new session resumption.

The DOF boss who is also the personal assistant to Prophet Sam Olu Alo added that the Foundation was using it as part of her contribution to educational advancement.

While thanking God for allowing him to be useful to his people, he appreciated all his team members for their support and advised students to make good use of the opportunity to brighten their knowledge.

In his remarks, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Elder Ayo Olomofe, called on the students to focus on their studies and make good use of their time.

The coordinator of the summer coaching, Comrade Abiodun Ajayi, thanked the Foundation for putting the free summer coaching together as it has helped the students’ learning ahead of resumption into the new session.

Ogunbusuyi appreciated his spiritual father, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, for giving him the enabling platform to be useful to his people.

He also commended the community leaders such as the Ido/Osi Local Government Education Secretary, Headmistress and Staff of St Benedicts Catholic School Ido-Ekiti, Hon Sola Ogunsina, Chairman Ido Progressive Association, Hon Olurotimi Afolabi, Chairman Ido Development Town Council, the GM and staffs of Adamimogo 107.7 FM and other people too numerous to mention for supporting the vision to come to reality.
