Abdou Kere, better known as General Tchoutchoubatchou, was born on March 31, 1994, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He spent his formative years in Abidjan, completing his education at the Djedji Amondjo Pierre modern high school and earning his baccalaureate in 2015. He later moved to Burkina Faso to study geography at Joseph Ki-Zerbo University.

Tchoutchoubatchou’s comedic talent emerged during his second year at university when he decided to pursue comedy full-time. His acting career took off with roles in the 2018 feature film “Albert I Wanted to Be Ready” and the series “Medg Then” by director Abdoul Bagué. In 2019, he further established his presence with a role in “Le Film” directed by Dramane Gnessi.

His live performances at notable festivals such as the Bonané Festival, Nuit de la Parenté à Joisanterie, and Garba Festival have endeared him to audiences. Embracing the power of social media, he launched his web comedy career in 2017, regularly posting on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, where he now boasts over 6 million followers.

In recognition of his influence, Tchoutchoubatchou received the Best Influencer Award at the 2022 Eucher Tv Awards in Lomé and the Most Influential Comedian Award at the Burkimbi Influence Awards. In 2023, he was honored with the Best African Web Actor award at the African Talent Awards in Abidjan, underscoring his significant impact on the comedy scene.
