Senators Natasha and Akpabio

A group, Concerned Nigerians, has strongly condemned Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over her recent allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Specifically, the group described the allegations as a calculated attempt to blackmail and tarnish the Senate President’s reputation.

The group, in a statement issued on Saturday, accused Natasha of having a history of using false accusations and emotional manipulation to achieve personal gains.

Signed by its Secretary, Lawal Muhammad, the group referenced past incidents, including legal documents from court proceedings that allegedly detailed how the lawmaker coerced and blackmailed her current partner into marriage.

“We are not surprised by her latest antics. This is her usual pattern—using baseless claims to gain public sympathy and discredit others. The public should disregard her fabrications against the Senate President,” the statement read.

The group urged Nigerians to focus on national development and not be distracted by what it termed “attention-seeking theatrics.”
