A sociopolitical group in Osun State, Ileri-Oluwa Vendors (I-O Vendors), has described the Executive Director (Operations) of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety (NIMASA), Engr. Taiye Adeyemi, as human-relations expert whose positive disposition endeared him to many people in the sociopolitcal realm.

The group gave this description in a birthday anniversary congratulatory statement issued by the General Secretary, Jimoh Olorede, and jointly signed by the President and State Coordinator, Dayo Babaranti and Wahab Oyeniyi respectively.

The President of the association, in the statement, said Adeyemi epitomised progressive and patriotic leadership, adding his accommodating nature, and especially friendliness in position of authority has earned him public love and followership.

“We are not celebrating Adeyemi just because he has clocked another year of age. But we are using the occasion of his birthday anniversary to celebrate and felicitate him on his milestones in community service, human capacity development and impacts in society,” he said.

“As a prominent member of our noble organisation, we are glad to associate, as we felicitate and celebrate Engr. Adeyemi for his good representation of our organization, his community, Iragbiji, his State, Osun, and Nigeria, wherever he goes,” Babaranti said.

According to him, NIMASA has been leapfrogging progressively since Adeyemi’s appointment early this year as the agency’s Executive Director of Operations.

It attributed this development to the celebrant’s vast experience spanning over 25 years in a related sector through which he had acquired relevant skills and professional expertise before his appointment.
