The President, African Projects/Foundation for Peace and Love Initiatives, Dr. Titus Oyeyemi, has called for unity among the three top leading political parties in the country.

He made this call in Lagos during an interactive session with the media. The theme was: “Creating a Formula to Enfranchise Federal Capital Territory, Abuja”

Oyeyemi, alsothe Provost, Timeon Kairos Polytechnic and Professional Institute, asked all aggrieved parties to bury their hatchets, adopt peaceful resolution and jettison the democracy of “winners take it all” as currently being practised in Nigeria.

Harping on the fact that only peace and unity could obliterate ethnicity in the country, Oyeyemi advised the three major political parties to come together to form a government with the winning party.

He commended Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, for towing this line in his address at the maiden Policy Making and Governance Lecture Series of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, near Jos, where he emphasised that it was possible for Nigeria to conquer ethnic and religious prejudices and build a unified nation.
