Idanre Assembly seeks rapid development of community
The President General, Idanre Development Assembly, Chief Anthony Omolola, at the weekend, said a blueprint and action plans that would usher in positive development and transformation to all communities within Idanre Kingdom would soon be unveiled.
Omolola stated this during a courtesy visit to the Owa of Idanre, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Frederick Adegunle Aroloye.
He said the Assembly had created sub- committees and eight directorates, each of which would be saddled with various transformational agendas that would make life better for the people of Idanre kingdom.
He promised that the Assembly would proffer holistic solutions to the menace of thuggery, hooliganism and threat to life that had smeared the political image of the Kingdom, adding that a commission of enquiry would be set up to address the menace.
Meanwhile, Dr. Benson Ajisegiri is the Deputy President General while Prof. Ropo Akinfala is the Secretary General.
Omolola, who is the Otunba Atuluse of Idanre Kingdom, used the opportunity to reiterate that all Idanres were under the paramountcy of
Aroloye.
Also speaking. Kayode Akinmade, a media guru and former Commissioner for Information in Ondo State, said Assembly members were ready to render selfless, sacrificial and honest services to the “Makanre race with all the human and material resources at their disposal to ensure Idanre becomes a greater clime very soon.”
Akinmade, a former Special Adviser on Media to Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, said Idanreland would be developed through the multifaceted approaches that the Idanre Development Assembly had adopted.
Responding on behalf of Oba Aroloye, the Adaja of Idanre Kingdom, Chief Bello Ilemobola, thanked the group for all it had done, and for its great plans for the the land and prayed that God would grant them journey mercies as they shuttled up and down.
The team also visited Awosunye of Atosin Idanre, Oba Gilbert Ogunlowo and High Chief Macdonald Oladipo Akinsowon, the Lisa and Regent of Alade Idanre.
