An Igbo traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Igwe Ben Eze, of Ndeabor kingdom, Aninri Local Council of Enugu State, has lauded Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Radda, for his inclusive policies towards non-indigenous residents in the state.
Eze stated this when he conferred Radda with the chieftaincy title of “Omeluoha I” or Man of Charity, at the ancestral palace of Ndeabor kingdom, at the weekend, in Enugu State.
According to a statement issued by a spokesperson to the governor, Ibrahim Mohammed, the governor was represented at the event by the Deputy Governor of the state, Farouk Jobe.
The statement said the traditional ruler lauded Radda’s “kindness and immense assistance to the Igbo people and others who reside and carry out their business in Katsina state.”
It said the governor expressed gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to maintaining an inclusive environment for all Nigerians regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds.
