Labour Party (LP) candidate in Akwa Ibom State, Uduakobong Peter Udoh, has vowed to tackle poverty in the state and ensure youths are gainfully employed if voted into power.

He promised to promote local content and patronise indigenous contractors to improve their competence, and create employment for youths

Udoh, who called on voters to vote for candidate with proven integrity, stressed that he would provide qualitative free and compulsory education for all students in the state.

Udoh said he has been a successful businessman over the years and would ensure the state becomes an economic hub and sought after by investors, businessmen and tourists.

He promised infrastructural development and human capacity building.

On money politics and vote buying, the governorship candidate said neither of the two would affect his candidature, saying everyone in the state is yearning for truth and better life.
