Jumia offer flash sales as Black Friday ends

Jumia’s biggest day of the Black Friday sales started today at midnight and will go on till midnight with flash sales and amazing deals on electronics, fashion, appliances and more.

The flash sale Jumia carried out at 9am this morning on 400 pieces of the much coveted InnJoo Max 3 was sold out in three seconds showing the resilience of consumer demand in Nigeria despite the hard times difficult times

Jumia first introduced the Black Friday in Nigeria in 2015. In its 2015 Black Friday Jumia broke records by welcoming more than 2,3 million shoppers in 24 hours on its website and reached new heights with 140 000 orders placed.

This year despite the harsh economic conditions, Jumia bet on the fact that having experienced such a challenging year, Nigerians shop for products they need only if they can find it at the right price and product performance level.

To pull off 2016 Black Friday, Jumia partnered with several brands such as Infinix, Polystar, Binatone, InnJoo, HP, Casio, Intel, among others to source essential products and offer them at great prices

This year Jumia’s Black Friday was sequenced in a pattern that offered 75 000 products, arranged in a different category per day starting on the 14th of November and lasted for 12 days.

Chief Executive Officer, Jumia Mall Nigeria, Juliet Anammah, claimed the platform recorded very good results of Black Friday 2016 so far, “We have seen a traction this year, even before the start of our sales on the 14th that was already three times more important than last year. Amid difficult times, providing quality products at the best prices is crucial and explains the exceptional demand we have seen this year on Jumia Black Friday Everyone is on deck today at Jumia, in our 24/7 war rooms, at the warehouse and in our hubs across Nigeria to make sure we deliver those amazing deals to our faithful customers swiftly and with a smile”.

It is not over. Till midnight on November 25th, Jumia will offer flash sales and amazing deals on electronics, fashion, appliances and more.

She disclosed that Infinix Hot 4 will be sold at a discounted price of N29,900 instead of N55,000 by 5pm

In addition we will be having a flash sale at 7pm on Tecno W4. It will be sold at a discounted price of N24,990 instead of the normal price of N37,000.
