NGO makes case for hunters, forest security bill
Bintebin Organisation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the Nigerian Hunters Council and Forest Security Bill recently passed by the National Assembly.
Addressing youths and other stakeholders in Jos, Plateau State, yesterday, the President, Andy Zhattu, commended the Buhari administration’s efforts to address security challenges in the country.
According to the former Assistant Controller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), it will be a great legacy and parting gift to Nigerians, if the President assents to the bill as part of the efforts to address insecurity in the country.
He called on Buhari to urgently sign the bill to complement the efforts of the existing security agencies.
His words: “Security is fundamental to all human development. I am confident that our President will do the needful to bequeath a legacy of peace, love tolerance and respect to all Nigerians.”
