Nigeria cannot succeed in a mono- economy
Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for Fufore local government in Adamawa State Barrister Aliyu Boya has said that Nigeria cannot achieve its goals depending only on the oil sector.
Boya, who spoke to journalists yesterday in Yola said for the country to become self sustainable and resolve its economic crisis, agriculture must be top priority in the governments economic agenda.
“The agricultural sector is the only sector that if properly harness, will address the economic problems of Nigeria and also tackle the unemployment crisis. The youth will be fully engaged in modern farming and they will generate more jobs and boost the revenue of the country, ” he stated.
