Jaji tasks 2, 382 promoted firemen on service delivery

Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, (FFS), Abdulganiyu Jaji, has to ask newly promoted and advanced officers of the Service to give their best in service delivery as justification for their promotions.
He said the elevation is of great significance to his administration and is the first and coming early in his tenure as this will boost officers’ morale toward efficiency.
In a communique, Jaji noted that 363 of the officers were promoted to their next ranks while the majority, 2, 019 were advanced both ranging from the rank of Assistant Superintendents of Fire I, (ASF I), and Deputy Superintendent of Fire, (DSF), respectively, after being stagnated for years.
While appreciating the minister of the Interior and Chairman of the board, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire & Immigration Services Board, (CCFIB), the CG urged “all the newly promoted and advanced officers to put in their best to justify the promotion and advancement.
He therefore directed all Heads of Commands and Departments to decorate all affected officers in their respective commands and departments.
